From its origins in a 1942 Manhattan Project barracks, to the state-of-the-art facilities in the centrally located Jackson Plaza today, Dermatology Associates of Oak Ridge has provided compassionate care to East Tennessee for more than 40 years.

With his residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland complete, Dr. Donald Sharp returned home to Oak Ridge in November 1982 with a vision to provide more dermatology access to the region. Joined by his friend and partner Dr. Robert Fuller from Houston, Texas in 1987, the pair set out to revolutionize patient care for the community.
